Resources Explained:
There are several different resource types that you can import into the system:
- Global
- Job Type
- Form
- Customer
- Site
- Job
It’s very important where you add the resource as to where you want to see it on the app.
For example, if you add a resource to a job, then you will only see it via that job as a related document on the mobile app.
Here’s a breakdown of the different areas where you can create resources against and where you will find them:
Resource Type |
Type Description |
Global |
When adding a document to this resource type, it will be available on the main Resources area of the mobile app for everyone to see and access. |
Job Type |
When adding a document to this resource type, it is added to a job type. So, if a Job Type has a Form against it, it will also have this document as a related document on the mobile app. |
Form |
When adding a document to this resource type, it is added as a related document to a form. So, whoever has access to the form will also have access to the document. |
Customer |
When adding a document to this resource type, it will be available for the web users in the Resources area of the website that have access to the customer it has been added to. |
Site |
When adding a document to this resource type, it will be available for the web users in the Resources area on the Site itself on the website. |
Job |
When adding a document to this resource type, the mobile user who has the job assigned to them will see it as a related document on the mobile app. |
