mpro5 is used globally to mobilise organisations across all sectors
When Metro approached mpro5 4 years ago, they had a tough challenge on their hands. More than 1.3 million newspapers needed to be delivered to stations across the UK each morning before the first commuter trains of the day rolled in. Furthermore, the company needed a clearer view of the readership of the paper to help them manage printers and advertisers.
Brennans Bread is one of the largest bakeries in Ireland. mpro5 assists them in delivering 68,000 loaves per day. Each delivery is scheduled via the mpro5 web client and drivers use a smartphone to enter delivery amounts against the products, take photos, record signatures, and leave a receipt with the customer by using a Bluetooth printer. Once the deliveries are completed, they are sent to the accounting system for immediate invoicing – reducing their invoicing timeframe from a month to a day.
We have developed Europe’s first bar code safety system for blood disorder sufferers in the form of a Smartphone App for the NCHCD. The App ensures that every step of patient self-medication is heavily scrutinised; from the automatic capture of the name, lot number and expiry date of the medication, through to the alerting of healthcare professionals of the results and of any unexpected bleeds.
Managing 50,000 staff to carry out a diverse range of services from cleaning and waste management to pest control, washroom services and maintenance is the huge task undertaken by this large facilities management company, every single day. The company needed a trusted, innovative solution that would strengthen their mobile workforce and give them capacity to grow. mpro5 was the obvious solution.
The endless stream of paperwork is a burden for any local authority. Hampshire County Council asked mpro5 to help move away from the time-consuming, error ridden form filling to save costs and run a more efficient service. Their focus was on the council’s catering service division (HC3S), which completes health and safety audits in 500 local schools. Every time a school kitchen is audited, teams would manually complete forms, which then needed to be returned to a central office to be reentered into the council’s computer system. It was costly, time consuming and open for errors at every step of the journey.
